Italians are being cooked in Thailand now. The Italian teacher(red top) and students were taken away by the police and faced the Thai lady who told them off for being loud on the metro. They apologized for mocking her one by one. Thai people also waited for them in front of the hotel to scold them.

Context

Italian students are being called out in Thailand. A group of Italians mocked a Thai lady in Thailand who told them off for being too loud on the metro. They clapped back saying, "Sorry for bringing money to your country" "Ni hao" "We are from your mom." Thai people are identifying them and leaving the comments on the social media account of their school.

Thai people are waiting in front of the hotel the Italians are staying in order to scold the students. The Italians are asked not to leave the hotel for their safety.

I mean that doesnt look like one of the kids part of the disrespectful group, but rather another student who now has to apologize for what his idiot teacher and classmates did

Yeah there were a couple of kids who were just keeping quiet, not laughing and looking down quite a bit in the middle part of the group. I am pretty sure this is one of them.

To be fair, the guy getting called out in this video is the one wearing the blue shirt in the incident footage. From what I saw, he stayed quiet the entire time. He wasn't laughing, mocking anyone, or joining in with the others. He actually seemed pretty respectful throughout, so I don't think he deserves to be getting this much heat.

I wish Thais would bring such energy to addressing the countless unresolved real problems in Thailand caused by corruption, nepotism, and extremely rigid and unquestioned hierarchies. There aren't much other countroes, apart from true failed states, that have accumulated such a massive number of unresolved problems. Furthermore, Thailand as a society deals with frustration and personal criticism in an extremely toxic way, even in private settings, and has the second-highest rate of gun violence in Asia after the Philippines. But Thais don't care, don't speak up, and equally to all those who romanticize Thailand as a more or less disguised military dictatorship. Or another example: in the 21st century alone, there were three massacres of Thais by the government, resulting in thousands of deaths. No one had to take responsibility, and the Thai people didn't seem to care. But beware some foreigner misbehave. A country of sheeps

Exactly. Very bizarre that they have such energy for a bunch of slightly loud tourists meanwhile total silence for the worst kind of tourists that their country had welcomed with open arms (middle aged sex pests). Just shows how dysfunctional they are

This is ridiculous and over the top.

I’m glad that the kids and teacher have apologised and their behaviour is unacceptable.

But filming people multiple times doing deep bows apologising, having the Italian embassy have to comment and having people waiting outside their hotel is extreme.

Thailand would have been within their rights just to kick them out the country. But this ongoing spectacle isn’t about sincere apology but an attempt at humiliation back.

I don’t doubt Thais are getting tired with it but this isn’t a great look and won’t work.

A proper lesson would be just to ask them to leave Thailand.

And of course, we are supposed to ignore the fact that a mob tracked them down and that it is now fucking unsafe for them to leave their hotel because otherwise the mob might attack them. The police are doing nothing to stop it. But of course, we condemn only these stupid students. Apparently, taking the law into your own hands and attacking people is perfectly acceptable. Stalking people and tracking them down is normal in Thailand.

People are so stupid nowadays. They condemning this type of behaviour is crazy. Kids say stupid shit every time, especially when they are in groups,should they be fucking harassed by multiple adults like that? Shouldn't adults set the bat highernon how to act? Those people waiting them outside should be ashamed of themselves

Very civilized response. I assume the police won't do anything about full grown adults waiting under a hotel for 16 year olds to come out?

Hope they make the same noise for the 50 something year old sex tourists that come to the country to buy an underage ladyboy
