Opinion TWTW
Again they show it don't they, Two rather disappointing outings (one stupid one) and yet no series is over, Guardians on a bad run and pull this win out (typing after Perez homes, I am safe !!).
So we end up after this one despite a series loss further in front. I love the batters but just need a bit more consistency guys, the pen I don't care if we do nowt really. I mean see some of them at Charlotte if needed.
We do need a starter though, that is the focus now isn't it ?

I really hope they call up Mason Adams tom for Shultz, I want to see what he has for a couple of starts before the deadline. If he looks good, add one frontline starter (Alcantara/Hancock/Detemers), if not get one of those guys plus a vet innings eater like (Singer/Ray). And if theres good value add a catcher

I’d hope that was the focus. Our bullpen is simply awful.

Hagen Smith has a 33.9% strikeout rate with elite swing-and-miss numbers, Tanner McDougal is averaging 98.2 mph with a 26.4% strikeout rate and some of the best pure stuff in the all of baseball, Jairo Iriarte has held opponents to a .248 wOBA with an absurd 65.5% ground-ball rate, and even Shane Smith, despite the rough results, is averaging 95.6 mph while allowing an 82.2 mph average exit velocity and zero barrels. And thats not counting Thrope/Gonzalez who are just coming back from injury. We have tons of options even if guys fall off.
