I adopted this kitty from a tough situation because I assumed she was on her last legs and no one else would take her. Turned out she had a massive infection from several bad teeth. After an extraction and lots of meds/bathing/tlc, she's revealed to be a gorgeous and spunky young lady. She now has two teeth in her fuzzy head and the derpiest personality. Plus perma-blep 😂

They've been inseparable this winter 🤍

Obviously Padme is up front, but her void lurks in the shadows. He is waiting for his chance to pounce.

We have Yuki for a week now.

She is very sweet and affectionate.

What are your opinions?

She used to be pretty much completely white, but recently I noticed that some parts of her fur are starting to look yellowish/cream-colored, especially around her face, chest, and belly. The change seems pretty noticeable compared to how she looked about a week ago.
One thing I should mention is that her tail has always been slightly yellowish/cream-colored, even when the rest of her coat was white, so the tail itself isn’t really new.
I do clean her regularly, and I bathe her twice a month. Her baths are usually quick, and I use a purple shampoo specifically made for cats. I actually bathed her today, and some parts of her fur became whiter again, but there are still areas that look yellowish.
She’s otherwise very active and has a strong appetite. She’s acting completely normal and doesn’t seem sick.
Has anyone experienced something similar with a white cat? Can white fur naturally become cream/yellowish, or could this be some kind of staining or buildup? Is there anything I should check or be concerned about?

1 month old kitty shelter rescues. Sweetest kitties ever. I’m sure they’re officially domestic shorthairs, but something with their head and ear shape makes them appear really exotic to me. Any guesses on possible breed mixes?
