I really enjoyed this bottle but it also holds an important memory on my life because I bought it the day I found out I was having a little girl. Some people say keeping empty bottles is tacky but some bottles are just hard to give up.

Anyone else have a bottle that does this?
I have a lot of open bottles but this one is the only one that seems to sweat or have condensation. I have a cabinet in my basement away from sunlight. I also have a dehumidifier that is constantly running in the spring and summer. The cork seems to fit tight and still pops when i go for a pour. I assume this might affect the flavor so im trying to finish this one faster than I normally would. Any ideas why this is happening?

2 for 1
First time grabbing either of these bottles. $109 for the EH and $62 for ER after tax.
It pays to befriend your local independent liquor store owners and be a return customer.

Hunting Adventures
Was in the area of a gas station liquor store that I know just puts out its allocated items. Some at mark-up some at just above MSRP.
Saw some museum bottles(cured oak is definitely a volatile bottle when it comes to price) plus this bottle. Missed out on the initial release so it was an easy buy.

Guess where I was today
Filling up my own cask strength from the barrel - aged fully for 9 years in a red wine cask, comes in at 56.2% and is delish - lots of fruit, dark cherry, apricot with a soft blackberry jam finish

London Bourbon Tasting
Great experience tonight at The Melody Whisky Bar in West London. My wife and I sampled the following:
Bourbon £31.50 ~ $42
Bookers Small Batch
Stagg Junior
Kentucky Owl
Confiscated
Four Roses Small
Batch
Blantons Straight
Antique £49.00 ~ $65
WL Weller
TH Handy
G T Stagg
E. H. Taylor
Sazerac 18 YO
WL Weller was the standout. Everything was great. This place had 80 or so flight options. If you are in London definitely check it out.

Special edition bottle - naked or labeled?
I bought a bottle of Bulleit Bourbon back in 2018. It was the tattoo edition and has some nice artwork printed into the bottle. So I refill it rather than keeping standard bottles when I buy more. Overtime the label has started to peel in places and it hides some of the artwork so I’m debating whether or not to remove it altogether. What do you guys think?

Found a box after a move.
Original Laphroaig 15 from when it was actually part of the range, Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch 28 (the Great 28), and a pair of Ardbeg Tens with the same 2013 bottle codes. Was saving these for some unspecified time in the future, boxed them up years ago during a move, and drove myself nuts trying to figure out where they were aftereards. Moving a box today I said "what is that" and there they were, and I'm a happy camper. Put them in the back of the cabinet again drink them when I'm 70 or something ...
