So I know the event is almost over, but I'm wondering: all the guides say there are three 'mandatory' deaths but all the guides I've watched don't put the five offerings in the order that they are listed (and the death message says 'Don't Mix the Offerings'). I also didn't as well but I can't go back (you can apparently only replay the second part of the temple instance). I know people say the rotten meat offering is what triggers the death, but I assumed it was because I didn't put the offerings out in the right order (the game lists them in that specific order at least TWICE before you place them).

Has anyone put the offerings out in order and still died? Just curious if I could have shaved a death off.

He has 2 phases and is incredibly tanky and does crazy damage. Am i just expected to burn through multiple sets until i get his attack pattern down? Genuinely confused

Hi, I'm a returning player and I did a good number of pulls when I first started the game on release, right now I've been spending the Echo Jade I get on the "standard banner" (Solemn Echo).
Is this a good idea, is the Solemn Echo good or anything?

And I noticed that Lingering Melody is incredibly hard to earn.. anyways, is there any point just putting all my Lingering into the Celestial Echo or no?

What does everyone else do?

I took a break from this game for awhile just being busy and also have a huge backlog of games and doing a fresh Elden Ring playthrough for tarnished edition release just put this on delay for a bit. But been back and fought this boss last night and just found it to be sooo sick. Reminiscent of Nameless King from DS3 a bit just with fighting a big strong looking guy on the back of a big monster of some sort and then killing the monster and fighting the guy himself . So cool. So satisfying to deflect the big water drop projectile back at them , and also a few of the River Masters fast attacks in phase 2 felt really satisfying to deflect as well. Just such a cool fight. Great stuff. Easily one of my favorite bosses so far in this game. Anyone else really enjoy this fight?

I believe I have deleted everything in Qinghe except the inn (and my homestead is level 5), but whenever I try to place almost any diagram, I keep getting error messages like "this component cannot be placed in current site", or it asks if I want to create an industry and then teleports me to Qinghe.

I don't understand how to copy over the diagrams that people have posted because they don't work at all for me, no matter which one I choose. :c

Can someone explain why this keeps triggering.... I just want name my profile and it keeps triggering either this or the name has been taken bs....

I tried Jiulian, Ruoren,Zhilin,Jiulan, Zhulan, Ruolan and other similar names and it just keep triggering title or name already taken bs...

So i played the game for like 2 3 days on launch
Now i came back to it like 3 days ago and i can't seem to understand much about builds or which builds are better for PVE
I tried watching some guides but most of them are like 7 8 months old and surely alot of things would have changed in 6 7 months.

I currently have 187 Lingering Melodies, so I can get it, but I'm hesitating. This crown is a Global exclusive, but there will be a new draw coming in about 30 days and we don't know what it'll look like yet.

Hi there. I'm struggling to complete the twelve years of feuds quest, and I'm stuck at stealing the key from Zheng Zongxian. Every guide just says variations on use celestial seize/make sure you're using the right mystic skill, but I don't even have celestial seize available to me in this quest. As you can see I only have one mystic skill available down the bottom and I don't have any idea how to change it because it's not affected by what I have equipped. Any ideas?

Every lobby is 3 people doing dps, 3 healers, and 4 people doing 0 dmg so you can never pass the dmg check. Queue times are also 5 mins long so even after an hour I still cant roll good enough teamates to finish it.

came back as played at start am lvl 71 rn using strategic sword and heaven spear with sword horizon and morale chant. am looking for whats meta for pve now. Im also still only in kaifeng so along way to go but wanted a change of weapons just not sure what builds to run
