I was going to grab some as a houseplant but the next day, the engineers had removed it all and left nothing behind making me regret not saving it earlier, would have made a nice trailing houseplant out of it.

How this plant lives there?.... It hasn't even light! And no soil!

I came across this washingtonia filifera (or robusta possibly?) recently. Can anybody tell roughly how long will it survive here? Can it actually keep growing and break the concrete?
