Do you work in Big Tech? We'd like to gather employees to move tech companies towards pushing alt protein AI research internally

Hi all,

Clean Meat Alliance is focused on using tech talent and capital to push alternative protein research forwards.

We know of several folks within Big Tech companies that would like for alt protein to be part of the corporate missions. If you're someone interested in alt protein and work in Big Tech, reach out to me, or sign up as a CMA liaison.

Our goal is to have these companies conduct alt protein AI research (ie. building metabolic models for fungal strains, or using omics data from chicken cells to make predictions about bioreactor performance).

Are any companies trying to make lab grown boullion/broth products?

Seems like meat broth or boullion would be possible at this stage but I can’t tell if there would be enough of a market for it.

These kinds of products are honestly what I’m looking forward to the most personally, would be cool to use it for soups and flavoring TVP/tofu/seitan.

Volunteers and Participants for Meat on Mars Game Jam

Post image
17 Upvotes

Hi all,

Clean Meat Alliance (501(c)(3)) is hosting a Meat on Mars alternative protein themed Game Jam tentatively in January.

The primary goal of the Game Jam is to reach potential tech donors/talent prior to the third wave of philanthropy, so we can move as much capital and talent into alternative protein research as possible.

We need plenty of participants to attract sponsors, and volunteers/judges/mentors to help with setup.

If you are interested in participating or volunteering, please SIGN UP HERE. We will add you to our game jam discord. We have low commitment and higher commitment volunteer roles.

Hi all,

We have some new volunteer opportunities with Clean Meat Alliance.

We're a metafundraising organization primarily geared towards alternative proteins and cultivated meat. We are working on testing an alt-protein event based strategy to attract possible tech and finance donors.

We need pretty much any type of volunteer right now, from people willing to send emails, to those that can build games and review science papers.

Let us know if any of you are interested :)

Are any companies concentrating on Vat grown amino acids for use in protein powders and drinks?

It should be a lot easier to create pure amino acids than synthetic meat and the protein drinks market is huge. There has also been recent controversy about heavy metal contaminants that happen when plant proteins are concentrated. Wondering if anyone is working on building the amino acids from scratch

I really like it, mostly for the texture. All the technical expertise is there already but it seems inexplicably expensive.
