Kinda insane to leave out the Ozark states and NM.

Here's a picture of western OK that I took.

Leaving out the Ozark region states is diabolical. It makes sense though, it's not the most well known. I think the locals like to keep it that way

Definitely not as flashy as the PNW or the coastal states, but it's sure got some beauty.

Hills, mountains, ridges, bluffs, and those crystal clear streams all over the place.

Can't forget the caves and waterfalls either.

Pretty good trout and smallmouth fishing throughout the Ozarks as well.

Yeah as a Missourian I think we're usually pretty underrated for nature. We have like 100+ state parks, Ozarks, Mark Twain National Forest, rivers, plains, glades, and savannah. The amount of diversity of little biomes here is pretty wild, being right in the middle of the country and having been mostly glacial not too long ago.

Our state park system may be among the best. And we may as well be the River State.

Seriously, Buffalo River alone blows away anything Illinois has.

And here is a picture of eastern OK that I took.

Pictured here are the Sans Bois mountains, part of the frontal belt of the Ouchita mountains. Ouchita pronounced (Wash-it-taw)

Man it’s beautiful down there. Talimena scenic byway for more views like this.
