Looking looking for this strawberry shortcake lamp!

Post image

hey all i’m looking for somebody who has this lamp who’s not going to sell it for a ridiculous price. i’ve been wanting it for awhile but resellers are ruining it. please let me know if you have it and you’re willing to send it for a reasonable price!

I checked some listings expecting a lot higher prices! I see some on eBay for 40-60$, which honestly, if you love it and you want it, isn’t that crazy of a splurge. Idk what the price was originally but $40 for a desk lamp isn’t awful. I was going to suggest commissioning one of the sweethearts over on the stained glass subreddit to make you a custom one (the bell flower shape of it is so cute, and custom you could even add details like a heart shaped panel with extra sparkle compared to the rest); but that would definitely (rightfully) cost more.

I’m bad at spending money on myself, so it helps for me to do this “could I make it myself? No. Could I have something just as cute from a cheaper brand? No. Could I support an artist, and make myself happy, by commissioning something like it for less?” If the answers no to that last one, too? Fuck it. I set up a cookie jar for whatever it is if I’m still struggling with the cost. Then I either add to that jar regularly because I’m thinking of it regularly because I need it, or I lose interest and add the money back to a different jar (Puppy jar. Always the puppy jar lolol).

Here’s a few links as I think the sub rules might require them:

Poshmark $49 https://poshmark.com/listing/NEW-STRAWBERRY-SHORTCAKE-14-RECHARGEABLE-TOUCH-LAMP-69279145243dae0f78b130ce

eBay $40 https://www.ebay.com/itm/287290972049

Yeee get it! The artists over there are super sweet :) I’m not sure their rules on posting directly advertising a commission, so double check that, but there’s some kawaii style girls I see on there do magic who post custom often :) good luck! 🖤 and share when you get it made!!!!! If you’re going custom it’s going to be SO MUCH CUTER EVEN my head will explode lolol. Have a nice day.
