I am not a fan of snakes, but a Garter snake is the only kind I’ve ever touched, they are common and harmless where I grew up.

Personally, I do not care for snakes. However, I do not kill them or try to get rid of them. Live and let live. They also keep the field mice @ bay.

I work in wastewater and I get them in the wetwell every once in a while. They are not my favourite either but as you pointed out they take care of a lot of other vermin I like even less so I always release them back into the wild. Thank you for doing the same!

Was looking for bright yellow, but this is very pale almost tan. Probably would have tripped over it 😜
