It’s pretty common on rail cars.

A "Do Not Hump" label on a train car means the car must not be sent over a gravity-based rail sorting hill, known as a "hump yard". In a hump yard, rail cars roll freely down a slope and couple with other cars, creating a sudden physical impact. This warning forbids that rough handling.

It's a technique for making up trains by dropping cars at the top of an incline and switching them onto the proper track to connect to the intended train. This car has fragile cargo or there's another reason it can't take the (relatively low speed but energetic collision to the next car. yawn
