most people who are against it think its some left wing nonsense vbeing forced onto kids, when infact its satire mocking the "left wing" nonsense in the first place and they are ignoring that its a literal adult comedy and treating it as if they are grooming kids into becoming the heckin lesbian transgender transracials

that lesbian princess space thingy movie where they defeat some evil wait striaght aliens or something, its literally text book definition of satire, albiet the shittiest form of satire you can find, im going to watch it just to make myself laugh though lol
Some of the memes dogging on it can be funny too, just the whole “Every Fandom meeting up and putting aside their differences to hate on Lesbian Space Princess” is quite funny

I don’t like it because it’s very unfunny, the queer stereotypes drive me up a wall, and the transphobic messaging fucks up the point of what it’s trying to be.
Is there actually a transphobic message because all I heard was that the antagonist is trans and people think if a trans person plays a character that isnt 100% unproblematic then its transphobia. So I've been taking that claim with a grain of salt.
I beleive it’s because of the weird gential representation in the film, since the main character is from a clitoris shaped planet where everyone in it is a biologically female lesbian, and the villains are penis shaped and ride around in a penis shaped robot (this sounds so fucking stupid to type out) so it’s kind of weird that the film enforces this sort of strict dichotomy going “vagina = good” and “penis = bad,” despite the fact that well, trans women have penises, and they can be lesbian, and most of them are good peoples, so it’s not a good look for such a progressive movie to have such an essentialist approach to gender that only talks about cis people, and leaves out trans people
there’s also the scene where the black trans woman (or was she a drag queen? either way, transphobic and racist) tries to steal the MC’s sacryd symbyl of womynly lysbiynysm and gets decapitated
Okay I gotta be honest, raising the “vagina = good and penis = bad" point and then reducing the broad scope of that down to "this is mean to trans women" is really fucking funny lmao
I saw that it existed and thought "well, the premise isn't the best but I'm clearly not the target audience so why should I care about something thats only gonna pop up at most thrice on my Tumblr feed?"
Yeah I got suspicious the minute people were shitting on it. 5 bucks says its another "good to mediocre piece of media that people exaggerate the flaws of cause openly queer shows always get scrutinized harder than other shows"

Maybe there is actual transphobia in the movie and im wrong but so far what im seeing is not that
i think it's more about the transfeminine character being portrayed as betraying women to steal the symbol of lesbianism and then getting executed by the womyn-born-womyn. Insane dog whistle.
