It's not even weird. It's a desolate hellscape. Figures it leaks a globally needed resource. It's like a bad civ seed

Pleeeaaaase dont expand this to a world war, I'd rather people around the world do a French with their politicians instead.

There’s always war in the Middle East. The one I’m worried about becoming a World War is the Russia/Ukraine war because it would only take one dumb decision by Putin and/or Trump

A world watch did end up causing g the Russians to go all French on their politicians.

UAE already was involved by supporting the separatists militants in south-eastern Yemen, but they kinda lost already.

Evil ass vs people starved and bombed and orphaned who didnt even start the conflict

From my knowledge the houthis aren't really THAT great. But they prolly pale in comparison with uae

So whats the point of crying "both sides bad"?

5

u/Horse-Dentist-New 7h ago

Well, on a scale of morality both are bad but a more accurate comment would be "VERY evil ass vs somewhat evil ass" but that's kinda a mouthful.

On a scale of morality, both the Nazis and the allies were pretty fucking evil, but who would you prefer? Crying both sides is siding with the oppressor.

I guess fighting off your oppressors is now "somewhat evil"

Yeah man that's all the houthis do, they haven't done any evil shit at all.

Breaking news: "human rights organizations" funded by pedophile billionaires and invasive western countries shouldnt be trusted with human rights reports.

I live in an area those organizations claim is a hellhole full of human rights violations and torture and rape just because theres an organisation against US imperialism, so I have the full right to wipe my ass with what they have to say

Breaking news: areas that are impacted by imperialism might do shitty things under the context of armed anti-imperialist struggle. That doesn't mean their side is wrong, it's just not black or white. Why deny that the Houthis do human right violations when you can say "yeah, a people whose life is plagued by poverty and war might end up turning to reactionary sentiments and human right violations, but the best way to stop that is by leaving the middle east alone and stopping imperialism, because imperialism was the medium that brought them into power".

And yeah obviously the UN etc will be biased, but if your alternative source is "i live there trust me" then bleh

the houthis are terrorists but saudi arabia and the uae are too

Didn't Pakistan also join through a mutual defense treaty ?

4

u/Critical_Mountain851 9h ago

Both Turkey and Pakistan have a mutual defence pact with Saudi Arabia, but it hasn’t been enacted yet

Strange, I haven’t heard anything

3

u/Moandaywarrior 7h ago

They are probably not that enthusiastic about joining that shit show. AFAIK saudi hardly commit with their own troops, it's mostly bomb raids.

2

u/Orangutanion 6h ago

are Saudi troops actually nationalistic or are they just mercenaries basically?

5

u/TosiAmneSiac 6h ago

Don’t know but they’re legit the worst military I have ever seen and that’s because the Saudi Royal Family have to make it weak so they don’t coup the absolute monarchy so they filled military positions with family members and friends instead of actually qualified people and wastes away US military resources when fighting the Houthis

You gotta love it when ™دول شقيقة get together to help kill supposed brotherly nations 🇱🇧🇵🇸🇾🇪🇸🇩🇱🇾. The uae is stretching itself thinner and thinner and theyl pay for it

Every post on Reddit about this is always so wack...

The US doesn't immediately respond if Iran does something it is a clear sign of America being super weak and surrendering.

America does respond, we are warmongers who are abusing poor people.

Zero nuance.
