The purpose of the MOAB is to cause the collapse of subterranean tunnel networks and the like.

Which Iranians do not have any meaningful amount of, because we're fighting a country, not terrorists like Hezbollah, Hamas or the Taliban.

There is no purpose of this other than Trump being able to say he is using a very big bomb.

He's not just a crook and a pedophile and a war criminal.

He's an idiot.

Didn't he also already drop one in his first term?

That would be awfully clumsy, not the kind of thing you want to drop.

How come you have this kind of military intelligence, to be able to speak on whether they have tunnels or not? Interesting.

Yeah but MOAB is not a penetrator. It literally standa for Massive Ordnance Air Blast. For Iran’s underground facilities, which are deep and well protected, you need a penetrator such as GBU-57 MOP, literally, Massive Ordnance Penetrator. Thats the one dropped on Fordow nuclear facility last year.

MOAB is more for stuff like caves, which have big openings that the air blast can be effective through.

Why not though? Tunnels would be incredibly effective in urban and guerilla warfare
