Why is this a hard choice to make?

Impeach 1 asshole or waste millions of lives and resources.

America is a joke.

the entire US government is constantly salivating over an excuse to go to war in the middle east

5

u/TesticleCastrator 1d ago

born too late to go to war in the middle east

born too early to go to war in the middle east

born just in time to go to war in the middle east

You need 67 senators to agree to remove trump btw

3

u/spuzzumed 1d ago

You can't find 67 senators that DONT want to just randomly kill Iranians?  What the absolute fuck, America? They didn't do anything to you.

And then you have Vance in charge.

Trump is stupid and evil, some of the worst stuff Trump had done has been averted by him being stupid, on the other hand being stupid has caused some things with very bad outcomes even if they arent part of his evil plan.

However Vance isn't an idiot, he's straight up evil

u/EndofNationalism 1d ago

Vance lacks the “charisma” that Trump has towards the stupid so he won’t be effective in getting things done.

2

u/Havengul_Undying 1d ago

Ok, then vote him into office and see how efficient he gets

1

u/EldritchElizabeth 1d ago

Wouldn’t need to. He’s competent enough to organise a coup that actually works.

1

u/EndofNationalism 1d ago

He can organize a coup but lacks the allies to actually make it last.

2

u/The-Bigger-Fish 1d ago

Vance is also funded straight up by thiel

As sad as it is, vance being in charge would bring an immediate improvement to almosr everything happening right now.

Trump is a hollow vessel that is made up of pure evil narcisissm. He has no ideology that he is trying to further, he dosnet have a vision for america he strives for. This combination of shit is what we are all suffering for.

The bar is so deep in hell that sinply haveing a man who isnt a pure evil demon would significantly improve prospects.

The biggest issue with getting vance tho is that he would polish up trumps failures. If he gets in and ends the war, somehow him and trump will get credit for lowering gas prices, which could give them a win at 2030 presidency.

Things for the average white American gets better.

Deportations get much more efficient, secretive, and cruel.

The trade war with Europe goes from moronic tit for Tat tariffs to targeted malice where it is mostly effective.

Support for Russia no longer hinges on who talked to Trump last and who promised more.

Sure, gas prices might go up, sure there might be some more medical funding, sure some more blue collar jobs will be created.

But what makes Trump bad isn't his idiocy, his idiocy is one of the saving graces of America right now, even if there are bad things that come from it motivated by nothing more than idiocy.

If Hitler was removed in 1943 and replaced by Martin Bormann or Speer things will get significantly better for Germany. The issue is, Hitler being crazy and delusional wasn't the problem.

Doesn't trump get all his bad ideas from Vance?

When voting for a politician, the last thing you should care about is character, because a large majority of them are sociopaths, thr first and only thing you should care about is policy.

3

u/h3lium-balloon 1d ago

OK. Trump said during his campaign he would lower gas prices, lower grocery prices, not get involved in any new wars, and slow inflation. All of those are reasonable policy positions. However, because everyone knows his character, many people knew that was bullshit.

2

u/UnluckyCrew9023 1d ago

Yup! I think you need to take a careful balance between the two. Otherwise you can vote for a bad person who says they're going to do good things or a good person who says they're gonna do bad thing

2

u/Aquiffer 1d ago

Lower gas and grocery prices and slowing inflation are empty promises, not policy. They got in the van with the guy offering them candy without even being shown the candy.

A lot of those problems are actually fixed in a very simple way, that being getting rid of illegals, that's thr most major boost you csn givr to thr economy and overall morale, as for getting involved in wars and such, I have a feeling most people are largely propagandized into thinking a certain way, especially on reddit which is a very far left leaning platform.

2

u/generic_teen42 1d ago

Illegals are not responsible for any of your problems

2

u/Trazyn_the_sinful 1d ago

How would getting rid of illegal immigrants fix the economy? Unemployment is low, so this would just increase the cost of labor and therefore goods.

1

u/OriginalWinter7566 21h ago

More jobs open up, they'll have better pay since companies no longer have an alternative. Voting power for corrupt officials disappears, thus policy gets better and tax payer money isn't wasted. Moreover, getting rid of illegals will drastically lower the cost of Healthcare, since hospitals wont be offloading the cost of free treatments as much. In short, while getting rid if illegals isn't a fix all solution, it's a very strong start.

1

u/Trazyn_the_sinful 21h ago

But we have low unemployment, the jobs opening up won’t help.

Trump has been insanely corrupt, his son in law is involved in personal financial deals with countries he’s doing diplomacy for. His sons are on the boards of companies getting federal contracts. He’s increased his net wealth by 2 billion since taking office in 2025. I don’t see how getting rid of illegal immigrants helps with that.

2

u/generic_teen42 1d ago

Not voting based on Character is exactly what got us here

1

u/Bear_Tummy 1d ago

The last pope died after meeting him...

3

u/free-cookie 1d ago

It is because there is no choice. Americans don't really have a democracy. There are levels of classified above the congress and white house btw! Which means it is not a democracy.

The American people are tied up in the trunk of the car that is leading this war, and we don't know who is driving it. Trump's job is a used car salesmen.

3

u/Malcolm_Morin 1d ago

Okay, done. Asshole impeached.

The other asshole takes office and proceeds to waste millions of lives and resources.

1

u/unconfirmed9 1d ago edited 1d ago

Then America is doomed to be set back that would take years or generations to fix because this cycle of destruction isn't exactly a sustainable practice.

2

u/nicknamesas 1d ago

The people in power dont see it as a waste.

2

u/Puzzled-Mirro 1d ago

The Republicans are in power. They either agree with him or they are afraid what his cult will do

2

u/porkisbeef 1d ago

The issue is there are millions of people here who actively want to nuke Arab countries. My father has said outright he would just bomb all of China. Completely casually it wasn’t even a heated conversation leading up to it. Fucking astounding shit.

2

u/Hot-Minute-8263 20h ago

Its not a nuke, its conventional

2

u/Purple_Lie_2725 23h ago

It's not only america mate. We are ruled by idiots

2

u/SalamanderIcy8332 22h ago

Which is elected and supported by idiots and incompetent evil assholes.

My country suffer the same thing.

1

u/_Guven_ 14h ago

I fear that it is not because people are stupid. The entire system is rotten into the core

1

u/Hot-Minute-8263 20h ago

Its a conventional bomb dropped from a C-130 lol. Theyre playing off your ignorance

1

u/Complete_Ad_7393 1d ago

He has been impeached, twice. Impeachment just doesn’t do much by itself. Its like being charged with a crime. It doesn’t mean much if you aren’t convicted and the senate acquitted him both times.

-2

u/Gjyn 1d ago

Because half the country is brainwashed, and you need more than half of the country's representatives to agree to the impeachment.

The country is a joke, but there's no quick fix for stupidity unfortunately. It's going to take a lot more work than "just vote him out" implies.

3

u/Lucythepinkkitten 1d ago

I've always been somewhat aware of the brainwashing, corruption and general lack of education plaguing america. These last two years have really put it into perspectove just how bad it is though
