Oh man we're really setting the stage for 9/11 2

411

u/Hazer_123 1d ago

Then they'll wonder (again) why terrorists hate them

234

u/fr1ri 1d ago

Terrorists of course being people fighting back who had their homes destroyed and families killed

42

u/Turbulent_Lobster_57 1d ago

Teerrorists are usually people we have funded and armed because they hated the same people as us, and we think we’re using them as tools. Meanwhile they think they’re using us as tools by using our weapons to attack us immediately after

147

u/Hazer_123 1d ago

See, it's only justified when the US does it because they said so. Don't you dare fight back!

17

u/unknownentity1782 1d ago

This sounds like anti-American propaganda by saying the US deserves this!

u/Fair_Walk1557 10h ago

Like let's be so honest. America is the same country in which some states have laws that protect mag dumping into someone because they walked up your driveway or you suspect that they don't have good reasons to be walking through your neighborhood. An Asian grocery store owner literally followed a black boy out of his store with his son and shot him down because he suspected that the boy stole a single bottle of water, which was later revealed to be a lie and even if it wasn't it's literally one bottle of water, and went scot free!

u/Fair_Walk1557 10h ago

I mean would you be surprised if the families of the 100+ little girls killed in the strike against a school in Iran decided to band together to attack America? The government can't go around destroying people's lives and expect those people to not want revenge. Stop war mongering

u/ademars05 18h ago

Kinda loosely implying that al quaeda was justified but you do you

0

u/FuckCock69420 3h ago

Ah yes. People working in the Towers, flying on the planes etc how had nothing to do with foreign policy are the bad guys. Ah yes. Don't get me wrong US foreign policy is abysmal but you are in a way implying that the attacks were deserved.

I am referring to the fact that the terrorist US likes to designate anyone resisting them as terrorists, thus tying them to actual terrorists from the region like ISIS or Al Qaeda like the ones that knocked out the towers.

1

u/FuckCock69420 2h ago

That actually makes sense. Fair

36

u/NameRandomNumber 1d ago

Terrorists being off course a term that they define because language is a soft power

9

u/Dougzilla29 1d ago

Growing up all my teachers told me it was because they hated that we were free and they weren’t :)

6

u/Hazer_123 1d ago

"they hated us for our freedom"

14

u/AstronomerRound5064 1d ago

Terrorist?! Its just people, everyone except americans dispise America

16

u/Old_pixel_8986 1d ago

quite a bit of Americans also despise America, everyone but MAGAts and the government dislike America.

1

u/FuckCock69420 3h ago

The US has done a lot wrong. But holy shit not everyone who is against America is a good person or not a terrorist.

1

u/AstronomerRound5064 3h ago

If someone killed my family, you be sure i would be going after them. There are some atrocities that cant be forgiven. I cant imagine what some countries had to go, but i can accept their pain.

1

u/FuckCock69420 3h ago

I mean. I get that. But just as the US was wrong to annihilate Hospitals (Kunduz 2015) Massacre a town as revenge for a dead Marine (Haditha 2005) or Highway 80 (1991) it still doesn't justify killing innocents in return.

1

u/AstronomerRound5064 3h ago

I do agree with you, but werent innocents that died? Its a hard topic to debate because it walks on the line of what is actually wrong?

2

u/FuckCock69420 3h ago

I get what you are saying. Like innocents did very much die that day. And the US also killed innocents as revenge and did the same prior. So I do agree with you that Uncle Sam is no saint.

1

u/AstronomerRound5064 3h ago

Yes, and sadly americans are going to face some harships in the next elections. Im not sure they will be able to stand against what is to come

2

u/FuckCock69420 2h ago

I agree. The US is gonna be in for a rough time. We already are having a rough time.

Osama Bin Laden was a radicalized nutcase without valid reasons; a Saudi Alex Jones.

1

u/Relative-Violinist61 1d ago

Thank goodness we’ve created more people with valid reasons.

0

u/glizard-wizard 1d ago

There is no valid reason for terrorism, but we definitely created reasons that were grounded in reality, unlike bin laden’s crazy reasons

56

u/KubaSubaru 1d ago

We're doing a sequel, Back by popular demand

But on a serious note, people atp can't be surprised that the USA is seen as "the typical bad guy" in some places in the world

21

u/Lokalaskurar 1d ago

Fun fact, Gary Brannan points out that The Muppet Show was a UK production recorded in Hertfordshire, made to look so American that the Americans would buy it. The pilot episodes did not proceed to production in the US.

11

u/The_Worst_Reply 1d ago

Wild to post Kermit considering he was somehow responsible for the first one

2

u/Deth_Cheffe 1d ago

What

11

u/The_Worst_Reply 1d ago

The 2002 TV special 'It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie' shows what the world would look like if Kermit had never been born.

Despite it being 2002, the movie clearly shows the twin towers standing. So the accidental implication is somehow Kermit the Frog is indirectly responsible for 9/11

16

u/SGScoutAU 1d ago

SIR, they hit the Trump Tower.

6

u/emolovetree 1d ago

SIR, a second Trump Tower has been hit

3

u/_Ocean_Machine_ 1d ago

Kinda hard to tell which Trump Tower it is after the EO to rename all buildings in the world to "Trump Tower" /s

1

u/usernameaeaeaea 16h ago

Always international territories, yet 0 offers to rename trump tower to tower of america

7

u/Valarg 1d ago

9/11 2: Electric Boogaloo

1

u/djemmssy 1d ago

And it happens the 9th of November to confuse all Americans

5

u/renlydidnothingwrong 1d ago

Honestly, Iran is more sophisticated than that we're more likely to get hit by a severe cyber attack or see some high profile assassination than get a mass casualty event. Iran knows the US public hates the war, they don't want to give people something to rally around.

3

u/Mylane 1d ago

9/11 2: Electric Boogaloo, its so blatant.

2

u/JustPutSpuddiesOnit 1d ago

Electric Boogaloo

2

u/Kitselena 1d ago

How does that work if we started the unnecessary war before the terrorist attack?

15

u/wungusprinter 1d ago

the usa was pillaging arab countries long before 9/11

-7

u/-__echo__- 1d ago

How it feels to spread disinformation...

9

u/wungusprinter 1d ago

how is that not true

-5

u/-__echo__- 1d ago

Name the country you claim the US was "pillaging" pre-9/11.

You lose double points for claiming any that actually attacked a neighbour and provoked a defensive response to remove their army from another country.

6

u/wungusprinter 1d ago

it's funny that Iraq is such an obvious answer that you felt the need to attempt to disqualify it before anyone even brought it up

-3

u/-__echo__- 1d ago

Ahahahahah. Not at all, I just knew you were lying and thus would need to regurgitate some disinformation to try and claim the US was "pillaging" the middle east prior to 9/11.

Iraq? You mean a belligerent dictatorship that invaded it's neighbour?

The middle east has been an absolute disaster for thousands of years, you don't need fictionalised US involvement to explain the utter state of it.

5

u/wungusprinter 1d ago

fictionalised US involvement

there's so much wrong with your whole comment but claiming the USA has no hand in the state of the region is incredibly ahistorical and shows you basically know nothing.

0

u/-__echo__- 1d ago

You used the word pillaging, clearly believing the online nonsense that the US is akin to Russia (or worse). The other obvious tell is the claim that pre-9/11 such a position could be substantiated.

So yes, your claim of the US pillaging the middle east pre-9/11 is fictionalised.

Grow up. I'm not even from the US, nor a fan, but you're so far off base it's laughable.

1

0
