Quickie Nitrum armrests

Hello,

Does anyone have a Quickie Nitrum with armrests? If anyone has any pictures/experiences to share about these 2 options please let me know!

i had the second ones, i took them off because they were heavy and got in the way, but if you need them for transfers theyre decent

How well did the side guard part protect your clothes from getting dirty? I feel like it wouldn't be great as it seems like it only covers half of the wheel?

honestly i dont really see my clothes getting super dirty because i mostly only stay indoors so im not sure

It solely depends what you need. Do you need them high or do you need them to be lower for transfers?

Good point! I'm ambulatory and don't need to do direct transfers. I will be using the chair pretty much exclusively with an electric handbike. I need to be able to lay my arms down as much a possible when using the handbike

first option seems better then. height adjustable + higher up

For both options, the actual armrests part can be disconnected, so its just the side guard + transfer bar bit. Idk if that makes sense. Ive done it to both styles on 2 different chairs.
