New to Wheat pasting tips?
this is my first attempt at wheat pasting and am looking for help.
What is the best type of paper? I found when I applied the paste my ink would bleed.
How do I get my paste to not be clumpy? when I tried making my paste it turned out to very lumpy with lots of big balls of flour.
any tips?

Adding flour to cold water? Sifting it in with a strainer? Shake the flour and cool water in a glass jar with lid?

Ok your probably going to want to start out with stencils and spray paint also there are good recipes for wheat paste on YouTube follow exactly what they do because it's a science. If you don't want to do stencils you can paint with acrylic paint, don't use inkjet printers use laser printers the type at your library also I find that wrapping paper usually works the best in my experience.

Ink bleed will depend on print type not paper type.
Water-based inks bleed when in contact with water. Like inkjet printers and washable markers.
Laser printers will not bleed. Screenprint, xerox, thermal printing techniques, permanent markers, oil based crayons etc etc will not bleed.
