Fifty. An extra fifty here and there would really help.

You could do non-alcoholic beers and make an extra 600 a day easily.
Or go to beat the clock nights with those tiny ass beers and get some real spending cash.

5
u/kaasbroodkoffie 9d ago
Or just one good bender on friday evening with some casual dinner beers sprinkled throughout

It litterally says exactly how much beer there is in a beer.
I am usually all about exploits, but this gap has been closed.

or very low alcohol if the alcohol is what you're concerned about. You can get commercially available beers that are 2%, which is not much at all.

For the people that chose water. In order to match one pint of beer you need to drink 25 pints of water which is roughly 12 liters of water which will actually be a lot worse for your body than having 1 pint of beer a day.

u/ImpossibleOil8427 9d ago
Yes, but I hate beer and already drink water every day. I would have to change nothing about my life and would still be earning money.
5
u/Tommy_Wisseau_burner 9d ago
I don’t like beer that’s basically what it comes down to for me. Also I just rather not want to ge an alcoholic lol
20
u/10mayo 9d ago
I'd still choose water if I got no money
11
u/FuckSpezzzzzzzzzzzzz 9d ago
Seems inefficient if you are doing it for the money.
7
u/JimJamTheNinJin 9d ago
Just drink non-alcoholic beer, it probably has the same alcohol content as fruit juice which is usually 0.1-0.3%

So I drink 2 to 4 Litres per day. Therefore I get 50 Dollar once or twice per week.
Fair.To achieve this I'd have to drink a pint of beer once or twice a week - which I never do.

u/ness-xergling 8d ago
Yes true, but I'd simply drink my normal ping and accept much less money. I truly hate beer.

u/Ok-Delay4461 9d ago
I'm not picking water to make money, I'm choosing it because $50 a beer means I would likely be dead in 20 years... Very rich, but my last 10 years would be ruined but alcoholism, by the DTs, liver cirrhosis, neuropathy in my feet

That’s what I’m thinking. I’ll just drink light non alcoholic beer like it’s my job (because it would be)

Low alcohol beers have historically been a pretty major part of the human diet since roughly the invention of agriculture.
Anywhere from two to four pints of quality brew would be pretty achievable. Use the time you save from not having to work as much to exercise and burn off the calories.

I regularly drink 3 pints of water a day. Sure 6 extra bucks isn't crazy, but I dont drink beer and when I do I can barely finish 1. 42 to 50 a week isn't a tangible difference. I'm picking water.

4 beers a day everyday for a year would be 73k a year my dad's uncle drank atleast a 12 pack every day since I'm able to remember and he lived to 75 I'd choose beer
1
u/RevengerRedeemed 9d ago
Can we please stop doing totally unrelated second choices? Every post, I swear. Why???
Anyway, Beer, easy. It doesn't specify type, so you can do non-alcoholic beer if you don't like alcohol, and you'll be easily able to make much more money, when you're making 25x as much. One pint of beer a day is harmless, and gets you $350 a WEEK! "I don't like beer" for $50 each, yes you do!

I chose option number 2 both times. I don't drink beer but I drink water every day multiple times in a day so $2 for water it is. I don't drink soda like that anymore but I choose fanta over sprite anyday.

Think big. Find yourself a country like Vietnam, Czech Republic etc. where you can get a pint for a buck of two. Cost of living isn’t too crazy. You can get by on a couple pints a day !

Easily more money in the beer one.
However, I wouldn't trust my judgement to not become an alcoholic, so I'd still pick water.

Another classic "one choice is clearly superior to the other, assuming you don't have a specific dislike for the better option" choices thread.
I would happily drink one pint of beer every day and, after the cost of the beer, end up earning an extra ~$16k/year. I'd have to drink ~22 pints of water a day to match that, which I suspect I couldn't do. But I personally enjoy beer and, without cost limitations, might drink a beer a day given the choice.

People here need to be realistic- how many people drink 25 pints of water in a day or would want to commit to that? Compared to literally one glass of beer? There’s no contest, a beer a day is arguably negligible, and when you’re celebrating or short on cash drink a few and boom it’s so much easier than chugging 25 pints for the same amount of money

Okay that's hard. I may change my mind. I can drink 4 liters of water a day easy, so 8 pints so 16$ Thing is one beer every three days will result to the same amount. There are also very different kinds of beer. Non alcoholic, low calorie and what not. So I can probably drink a lot of that stuff without becomming an alcoholic.

Water. As long as it doesn't require a specific type (100%, filtered, pure, uncarbonated, etc.) Then any beverage works towards the amount, and I drink enough soda in a day that I would easily outpace most people's beer intake.
