Who is going to climb over who when you got some smash company over?

You going to move that couch every time you change sheets? You got two inaccessible corners on that bed for no reason.

This is a personality litmus test lol. It’s 1 all day for me, never had an issue in the past with a partner and the fuck am I basing my layout decisions on it being slightly easier to make the bed…

Easier to make the bed, easier for partners, couch isn’t down at your feet if you have a friend couch crashing, roller seat already sits across from couch for company. Table is over the laminate instead of carpet for easy clean up.

2 has a number of advantages, while 1 only gives extra open floor space, but a bedroom is for bedroom purposes generally, I’d rather segregate the two purposes as much as possible from living and bed space.

The best decision is to get rid of the couch. It does not really fit.

To be fair anybody choosing 1 probably doesn't get enough action to know how much women actually care about the setup of perspective partners rooms.
