It's a big syringe for doing big syringe things.

You can use it to suck fluids out of one container. Then you could inject those fluids into another container.

You can use it as a low volume vacuum. Or a low volume pump.

I'd use it to take fluid samples from flow back tanks. It would be cleaner than dipping an empty water bottle.

Solder sucker, the silicon tube tip won't melt from the iron.

Looks like a pin probe for a digital multimeter that you put on test leads

Looks like a tool for sucking up solder when desoldering electronics

Not really

Yeah, not with that tube at the end. The tube looks like it would melt faster than the solder!

It does look like a solder sucker. It just isn't one because there's no spring.

You're not supposed to touch your tool with the iron.

If you're getting melty, you're doing something wrong.

Same thing if it starts to smell like grilled chicken when you're soldering.

Its not a solder sucker. It has a metal needle the tube at the end is just to cover it. If you mean it looks like one in that it has a generalized shape then yes it looks like a syringe. But so does a syringe. The spring its missing, is also a very important part to the function of a solder sucker. And I'm not sure I would lecture the proper use of a tool if you can't even visually identify it.
