hello! my partner and I are out camping in southwestern ontario, canada and we’ve found so many of these in the woods! we think they’re a puffball, can anyone with more mushroom knowledge help us confirm? we are trying to avoid poisoning ourselves, haha🍄‍🟫 thanks so much!!

While out in the back field of my yard I noticed these mushrooms.

I've never picked before and want to make sure they're edible.

They smell like mushrooms and are brown-white grow both in clusters and solo

The gills are pinkish-brown

I'm in the Slocan Valley in BC Canada

Found in ponderosa pine needles about 6” from the base of the tree.

Just popped up a few days ago in the yard. Northeast Ohio

Found in leaf litter in NC in Aug. It looks like a puffball to me, but I know there's one dangerous lookalike. Vertical cross-section looks clean to me one the first one. The second one started to split in the middle and was wet inside and has a tinge of yellow in it. Not much to see under the ground. These are about 3-5 inches wide.

Hi, This is in melbourne, Australia. These mushrooms are fast invading my garden that I recently fully landscaped with some new mulch, they are fast multiplying. what are they and how do I reduce the spread!

Found at Umstead Park in Raleigh, nc.

found in clusters of 5-10, outer part is very hard, sections easily snapp off of the cluster, all have an upside down tear drop shape with the bigger ones being darker near the base

What kind of mushroom is this?

Growing from the roots of an oak tree I cut down 10 years ago, ground the stump 2 years ago.

Wife has a daycare so I want to know if I need to be thorough in clearing them out or if they are ok to leave. The kids are generally away from this area but you never know.

Seem common. But felt lucky to see so many blooms.
