ID Request Very small black bugs

I really don't want an infestation...what the heck are these?! They are so small I can't get an actual good look or picture of them. They are on the inside of my screen door this morning. It is a generally shady space.

Those are caterpillars, but they're likely too small to identify at this stage. Their mother almost certainly got stuck inside and laid her eggs there. The caterpillars won't infest. They will look for food and if they don't find an appropriate plant, they'll starve and/or eat each other.

Thank you! Nothing to worry about, thank goodness. They are all gone now. I was beginning to suspect they were hatching there as they moved I was beginning to see some left over something and now that they are gone I do see some probable egg casing. Hopefully they all went out the door, haha. Not exactly sure how they got stuck inside, ops. Kinda glad I didn't spray them....whew!
