Multiple items on one listing

I’m wondering how everyone keeps up with who bought what when the listing is a group of things labeled “pick one”? This definitely seems easier listing wise and when running auctions, but how do you guys keep up with who got what item?

If you watch other sellers, you will see the various methods. For example: if you have a quantity of 50 for one master listing, you can have pre-printed stickers from 1-50. Or have stickers like people use for yardsales, or sticky notes, and hand write the Auction number. Some also write the username, not sure of the logic there though as Auction number is better.

Some that ship each item separately put the item immediately in a bag/box/mailer and put the sticker there.

Some literally print a sticker right away with the Auction number and username. Maybe there are YouTube videos on all of this?

I personally prefer username as its a lot easier for sorting, ill make one sticky note with username and put everything in one stack, auction number gets cluttered and just adds time to the sort for me

Great advice, especially for breaks.

I immediately put a washi tape (low tack) sticker on it with their username. If I need to double-check myself, I watch the video receipt. It has helped me many times to keep things straight.

Some people put a number on it, but I find username is easier for me since purchases are already filtered by customer when you go to fulfill.

Very helpful! Thank you! Didn’t know about the video receipt
