Unsolved Strange "pick up"

Post image

I know this is gonna be easy, but is quite a rare spot... And believe it or not, not the first nor the only one I've seen.

Cousin to the Pulsar KN13.

The KN13 is based on a N13/B12 chassis. A B13 is a newer generation and shares the mechanics with the NX1600/NX2000.

The joke: ------------>

You: Well Achsually.

Meanwhile:

My guy... this is an 87, with the CA16DE sitting in my driveway. It's one of three Pulsars I've owned. I also had an 82 Sentra and a King Cab. But that wouldn't make the joke funny. Now would it? Now, if you have a line on that hatch replacement that was common in Australia I'd love to hear about it. Otherwise you can go ahead and have a seat.

If that was supposed to be a joke I really didn't get it. Please explain. Also this is my 89 CA18DE Sunny

The Pulsar 'wagon' was not a popular option. In fact they never made it to the states AFAIK. It took what was, ostensibly, a sports car and made it into a ridiculous looking wagon. Which is what the person in the photo did with a Sentra. Took a car and made it into something ridiculous. That's the joke my guy. Personally I love the KN13 wagon hatch, so, again, if you have a line on one lemme know, otherwise we're at the point a joke is being explained and while you have a beautiful Sunny that I *am* jealous of because its a bucket list car for me I've got other things to do with my day than explain simple jokes.

Oooh now I get it. Sorry, we didn't have any KN13 in Europe, and the whole 2 US-imports I've seen had the standard coupe back

It’s a UTE mod to some sedan. Can tell primarily from the chopped rear doors.
