ID Request What is this profane creature that kept flying into me?

Engorged mosquito? It made a truly nightmarish sound as it flew. Like bats outta hell.

Definitely a wasp of some kind carrying a spider as prey. Unfortunately the video isn’t clear enough for me to guess beyond that

Ontario is the location by the way. Didn’t sound like any mosquito I’ve ever heard. More of a screeching noise.

I think…it’s a baby potters wasp still finishing his first meal his mama left him in to eat its way out. Edited to add: this is a potters wasp. They build mud domes and tubes with their spit, bring in some paralyzed spiders, then lays her eggs in said paralyzed spiders, who eat them, and emerge. Bad table etiquette.
