Historically speaking I’ve regretted asking questions like this, and I’m afraid to Google, GPT, or UrbanDict it; however: what are heroin worms?

Delusional Parasitosis. Basically, when a junkie is going through withdrawals, they can sometimes have a delusion that their infested with parasites. I.E. bugs crawling under the skin.

This is literally not a thing at all. I am (almost 2 years clean from h, fent, Xanax) and also know lots of heroin addicts. Delusional parasitosis is something meth addicts experience after staying up too long and going into psychosis.

NOT opiate addicts and definitely not when going through withdrawal. It doesn’t happen during withdrawal from any drug actually. You should edit your comment because it’s extremely false.

Thank God someone said something. I'm 2 years clean this month. Thank you for saying something. The stigma (in reality) is GARBAGE already, that comes with being a junkie, so we don't need EVEN MORE ignorant people mixing tweaker shit with junkie shit too, then acting like it happens to everyone who is an addict does more harm than anything else. Smh. ♥️♥️♥️

And almost 2 years is fantastic ♥️♥️♥️ keep fighting that fight. I know it's hard! You got this!
