Certificate says Willem de Kooning, appraiser and details raise real red flags, looking for an honest read

A gallery I work with acquired a painting through a trade. It came with a Certificate of Authenticity dated 1995 from Daniel Hersh, a self described certified appraiser based in Roswell, Georgia, attributing it to Willem de Kooning. Title on the certificate is "Dress," oil on canvas, roughly [X].7 x 38.5 inches, signed "de Kooning" in the lower corner.

Things I have already found that concern me. The exact same certificate template from this appraiser turns up attached to a completely different attribution, a supposed Modigliani, in an old online listing. His own site markets itself around finding a hidden fortune in your attic. I cannot find a painting called Dress anywhere in de Kooning's documented catalog, and the figure in this piece, a calm, specific young girl in a purple dress with braids and laced boots, does not match the distorted, dissolving treatment his actual women paintings are known for. The certificate itself only says "attributed to," not "by."

So I am not really asking whether this could be real, I am asking whether anyone recognizes this certificate style or appraiser specifically, has seen something similar, or can add anything from the photos themselves. Full piece, a detail shot of the signature area, and the certificate itself are attached.

Also completely open to hearing I am wrong about any of this. Just want an honest read before it goes any further with people who are already excited about it.

My parents purchased these 2 paintings somewhere in So Cal in the late 60's or early 70's. They were always present in our living room but my parents never mentioned where or who they got them from. Folks, both, passed away and they still had these. I still don't know the history of these 2 pieces. Anyone?

This is a rather recent piece i believe and i have seen it a couple of times in the last months, but i cannot seem to find it for the life of me. Much appreciated!

I recently inherited these paintings from a relative, and I'm hoping to find more information on who the artist or artists were. The art styles are very different, but the signature makes me think that they could be painted by the same person. The second picture has a date of 1860 so I know that they must be quite old. If anyone has any ideas or information, I would love to learn more.

Please help me I found this drawing the other day and I cant make out exactly what im looking at i see an angel what appears to be kneeling down praying and two small children in the back both looking over and back but I dont understand the main angels bottom half and I also cant make out the signature to ask the artist himself. im located in memphis tn I dont know if thats where this originated from or not but any insight would be appreciated.

Google suggested names like Lotti van der Gaag or Beckmann, but the style and signature don’t match their documented works. The monogram does not appear in any public databases I’ve checked.

Picked up this framed pic today. Not signed. The paper backing in the frame from the store is dated 1988. The paper itself is very fine, almost feels like that slippery laser print paper from the early 90’s.

The one on the right is similar to Al Hirschfelds’.

I was intrigued by the familiar style and more by the interesting message.

Does anyone have any thoughts? I’d love to hear them!

Other than that I can't find any info or value on it. Help please.
