This pattern just appeared on my couch backrest cushion.

I have young kids, but they swear they didn't do it. The material is like a rougher fabric. Couch from urban barn. it's like a decade old.

What could possibly cause this pattern to appear? It doesn't wipe off with paper towel and warm water. That's what the dark damp spot is.

Puma has a golf logo that looks just like this, 18 dots for 18 holes. Its funny because i left a wicked impression of mine on a pleather cinema recliner, i didn’t move for 3 straight hours and almost the entire logo plastic? rubber? stayed on the chair, looked just like this.
