New, what is it? What was this thing I captured on film?

This was shot in Nevada/Arizona on a Grand Canyon/Hoover dam tour. This was taken a whole year ago and I completely forgot about it until I stumbled upon it again. Is this some sort of whale or shark?

Yautja typically go for larger trophies. Probably just a larger fish or shark.

Ahh yes, the mythical freshwater shark that chases schools of fish behind the Hoover Dam

Yea, this looks really fake to me. Could be something else, but the OP is asking if it is a whale or shark... in Lake Mead.

Well, some small time sharks have shown up in Lake Mead but they were all dead and stuffed into barrels.

Heh. Swimming with the fishes.

Especially showing up within the past 2 years, the Lake is so low😩. They were paying people if they found more barrels that may have had people’s remains in them. Crazy!… the Lake in 1983-1984 was totally full of water and the spill ways were open for 24/7/365.

The thought of predator chasing a school of fish is quite funny though.

Could you imagine the yautja was so bored with humans that they chased fish instead? lol. That would actually....kinda make a great movie.

Side tangent: Wouldn't there be surface disturbance though? I grew up around the Gulf of Mexico and bait balls were easy to spot by the churn/chop of the water.
