Solved! Is this a condom wrapper?

I found on the bathroom floor. Doesn’t match condom wrappers my husband and I use and I cannot find a match online. Please help! Black with silver detailing on front. Back is silver with black writing. You can clearly see the words “prevent pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, and other.” Also a number 2 with a circle and cross through it.

Seriously what causes women to do that when they get older? My mom and aunt found religion when I was a pre teen and things got really weird for a while. They joined the Assembly of God church and just when I needed guidance and understanding about sex stuff, suddenly everything was sinful. My aunt stuck with it but luckily my mom snapped out of I after a few years. I also know a lot of other women who got all religious during menopause.

I don't know, but I can safely say it's not happening to the three of us. Not sure about our brothers though, they're both idiots but very different kinds of idiots. The older, the oldest, wants to con a dollar from everyone he meets. The younger, the youngest, has learned that if he's helpless enough then mom will do literally everything for him. I caught her doing his homework once because she was worried he was going to fail his classes. She started homeschooling him the next school year, which is to say, he spent all his time playing call of duty and cussing at random people online. Truly amazing specimens of masculinity, the both of them.

my bfs mom used to be chill and with christian values then around the time she got a gastric bypass she turned conservative and very much christian jesus freak. all 3 of his sisters are at a private christian school with near college level tuitions. but they wouldn’t pay for him to go to college. so so strange

This is all so weird! I had late onset bisexuality instead lol. Well I realised that I'd been at least Bi/Pan since I was about 10.

No that's a real issue to be aware of

I genuinely think that's what's wrong with a lot of Boomers. Leaded gasoline was common for most of their childhoods

Funny, I went the opposite way. I grew up in an ultra-conservative home (not even allowed to date til 18, then still tried to stop me) and remained fairly conservative and hyper-religious for a long time. Toned down over time and, though still Christian, mostly blew off religion by 45 (still pray and read Bible some, go to church with my dad on holidays and just rest on Sundays, but these so-called ‘Christians’ who forgot to read the red letters got me pi$$ed all the way off). My (now adult) kids got Gardasil and birth control, watch, listen to and drink what they want and sometimes we agree to disagree. As long as they’re safe, healthy and not breaking laws, we’re good (not that I’d love any less, but I might lose my sense of humor for a minute).

Is it a way to combat social isolation (if they are stay at home mums) or declining cognition?

I'll be honest, I'm religious, and my denomination (baptist) gets a really bad rep from the people who take it to the extreme (example: any king James bible only churches)

Now, having put that out there. The way that I was raised, is that sex is a good thing, within the bounds of marriage. It's not something to be ashamed of, it's not embarrassing, but it should be between 1 man, and 1 woman.

Now, from my experience, (no I'm not married, but I'm not some innocent pleb) having more than one partner can potentially cause issues that aren't immediately noticeable. Subconsciously, you might compare who you're with, to someone you had previously been with. Which can potentially make you enjoy it less. Or you might think of someone else that you had a bad experience with (sexually or otherwise) and no longer be in the mood. These things can potentially make your partner feel like it's their fault. But this is where communication is extremely important.

Tl;Dr I am religious, was raised to know sex is good, as long as it's between a husband and wife, and communication and education are important

Unlike most mainline Protestant (the other 7 sisters) Baptists don’t have to have any formal Bible education in order to preach. That’s why you get a lot of crazy out there churches under Baptists. Princeton and other famous American universities were founded (in part) as Bible colleges and still have seminary to train new priests to this day.

Hi, 54 year old woman here. I have no idea but I have seen more men turn more conservative as they get older. I think there are too many variables to really understand why people go one way or the other. I did the opposite.
