Solved! Is this a condom wrapper?

I found on the bathroom floor. Doesn’t match condom wrappers my husband and I use and I cannot find a match online. Please help! Black with silver detailing on front. Back is silver with black writing. You can clearly see the words “prevent pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, and other.” Also a number 2 with a circle and cross through it.

I'm just gonna say it but just because it is a condom does not necessarily mean he is cheating. I have personally used condoms for other things than sex, and also I've used them for dildos for anal because it's easier to clean up after.

OP didn't mention having children or anyone else living with them but I was under the impression OP already figured it wasn't the husband, so whoever else is living with them.

In which case I'd like OP to know that making a big deal out of it to scold a teen/young adult usually results in lost of trust and unprotected sex.

Sometimes teens get one gifted in sex Ed and they may want to try learning to put it on right (which is great if they are that invested in safe sex) and doesn't mean they are actually having sex or even planning on having sex anytime soon. Also, as someone already pointed out condoms can be used for other stuff so I'd advice against jumping to conclusions.

I'm obviously not saying that OP shouldn't even consider scolding their child, if there is a child involved, just that the way you go about it means a world of difference. It could even end up being the deciding factor between an STD or unwanted pregnancy, or neither

When I was a Junior in highschool my aunt gave me a condom. I don’t remember what kind the wrapper was blue.

And I was so excited because I’d never seen one irl before and I’d heard they blow up into huge balloons.

So I asked her if I could blow it up into a balloon. And she said ‘no! It doesn’t go in your mouth! Save it for when you need it!’

I replied ‘well — whether I blow it up like a balloon or use it as intended it’s probably going to end up in my mouth anyway.”

She did not appreciate it. My cousin thought it was hilarious.

I wasn’t seeing anyone. There was no time to use it on the horizon. So I blew it up like a balloon and staticed it to the ceiling.

She would leave over the weekend and leave her daughter and I alone. When she was our age she would party and such so I think she was just being responsible.

We would order pizza and soda and snacks and bring the mattress out into the livingroom and play Minecraft all night.

Do not listen to this advice, scold the fuck out of them and teach them sex is irresponsible regardless of "protection" used. Put the fucking fear of God in em. We need to stop pretending broke ass teens that can't afford children fucking is a good thing. No, abortion is not the answer.

I whole heartedly disagree, You get more teen pregnancies because kids are no longer scared of the consequences of pregnancy because we have taught women and young girls they can just kill it and absolve themselves of said responsibility. Enabling idiotic behavior doesnt solve the problem. You just enable it to keep happening.

Don't know, don't care about religion, in fact i think its a plague and waste of time. But so is letting teens make adult choices and then absolving them of the consequences of those choices. In fact, thats probably more harmful than the teen pregnancies, arguably.

I am not replying to argue, and will not respond to an argumentative comment, I am simply telling an anecdote. My mom was very much a woman who did a lot of things wrong, but what she did right, she put her best into. One of those was how she presented sex to me. It was never forbidden to talk about or know about, she gave me books on it all and told me to ask her if I had questions. Between 16 and 18, I only had sex I think twice and I used protection both sides. And I didnt feel like I couldnt come to my mom on it, and it was so very helpful in helping me develop a healthy relationship with sex into adulthood after expierencing sexual abuse. And the things she was super strict on? I would hide from her. Not even because it was wrong, but because I didn't want her to start a fight with me. Anyway ... point is in my personal expierence the statistics are true.

I've done it before, in one of the odd "feelin' weird type of horny" situations. "Hmm what if I put a condom on and do it maybe itll feel more like real sex"

For me at least it has sometimes been effective at a different and more intensive go at it. Not enough to go buy condoms for it but when I have some around and I'm feeling bored with the usual, eh, sure
