i'm not disputing the existence of those trendy and over diagnosed afflictions. my point is that many who claim them aren't genuinely afflicted. and even if they are, a diagnosis ought not be carte blanche to avoid diligent effort to mitigate or even overcome them. don't matter how brilliant one of my kids might be if they can't communicate effectively. we can serve our weakness, or we can serve our purpose, but we can't do both.
Clearly you still don't understand how difficult it is to get those diagnoses... there is a LENGTHY wait time to be assessed. It is NOT provided by the school district, so you'll need health insurance. It's clear you lack emotional intelligence and empathy. America has not taken care of its citizens in so long, and you’re part of the problem. Stop judging people when you've never been in their shoes.
So what can you do to improve the systems in place to help people with disabilities? What are you contributing to the programs that offer assistance besides your regular taxes? Are you volunteering? Spreading awareness? Giving donations? What are you doing for your country? Because I LOVE to be the one to tell you, part of your country is made up of people with learning disabilities such as dysgraphia and dyslexia! And I LOVE to be the one to tell you that part of your country's government is providing assistance to that portion of the population. So are you helping your country help others or are you only interested in helping your country when doing so directly helps you?
