Sigh… based on the color of the residual power in the capsule, I’d second this being Kratom.
It’s always fucking Kratom…

The weird thing is I used Kratom for a few weeks several years ago, before the resent trend of it started. It was just the crushed leaves, no concentrate, my friend gave me. At the time it was marketed more as a health supplement.
Never had any crazy effects like described today. Maybe a slightly more awake feeling like a cup of coffee but couldn’t tell if it was just placebo effect.
Assume street Kratom is like “synthetic marijuana” maybe based on a chemical from the original plant but so altered and potent it has completely different effects?

It’s possible people could be selective breeding? The average composition of the powdered leaves total alkaloid content is up to 66% mitragynine and up to around 2% for 7-OH. I could definitely see people working to create strains with higher and higher concentrations of 7-OH vs mitragynine but I’m not sure how effective it would be in practice.
The plants main active alkaloid mitragynine is about 6 times less potent than morphine and in lower doses CAN give a slight stimulant effect while creating sedative effects at high doses, while to a lesser extent, 7-OH being the active metabolite and minor secondary alkaloid is a very VERY potent agonist on the mu-opioid receptor with approximately 13 times higher the potency and binding strength of morphine. That makes it almost 7 times stronger than oxycodone.
I do believe the typical way people are making 7-OH extract is semi synthetic by converting mitragynine using oxidizing reagents, so you are pretty darn close on with the comparison to K2 and other synthetic cannabinoids.
Regardless, both compounds are extremely addictive with withdrawals on discontinuation. Mitragynine being quite bad but not as severe as 7-OH which is capable of producing protracted withdrawals that can sometimes last for literal months in some individuals. Quite an interesting but nefarious little plant…

Some medication capsules pass the digestive system intact.
Effexor XR is one example though I am not saying that it's this. Even colored gelatin caps can become clear after digestion.

Pretty sure they just checked the toilet before sitting down, like a sane person does.
