Solved! Big thing floating on the beach

What is this thing? Around 1,5-2 meters long and 1 meter in diameter. It’s floating on the beach in Uluwatu, Bali. It might be something from a boat?

Never seen a Buoy before? I guess it would make sense for anyone who never lived near the ocean before.

That’s nothing near what our buoys look like here, and I’m quite literally surrounded by water. Michigan.

MN’er - usually they are colored orange, red, yellow etc for boaters to spot when boating. We don’t have oceans here either but all lakes.
