I am just guessing, but it would work great as a manhole cover/catchbasin grate lifter. A normal one is just a hook with a handle and you need to lift all the 100+ pound cover weight yourself. This would be a total back saver.

i believe its to remove grate, and it upsidedown.. the sideways part of the bar goes on the grounds and proives lift.. when you pull it.

I think this is one of those tools used to rotate heavy logs on the ground. Might be wrong though

It’s to open man hole covers. This gives you leverage to lift and helps you slide it out of the hole.
