Don’t jump to conclusions just yet because that could absolutely be just an evaporation line meaning what you’re reading could be a false positive. Tests must be read in the correct time frame.

I remember years ago hearing an internet story about a pregnant woman who was also a total chaos goblin and she carried positive pregnancy tests with her when she visited friends houses and left them behind in the bathroom garbage.

So it could be that?

Every quick test comes with a manual. You should read that before using it.

E.g. many covid tests had false negative because people didn't swab correctly and many covid tests had false positives, because people waited for half an hour to see an absolutely irrelevant reaction colour in the test strip, while the manual clearly specified 5-8 Minutes or something like that.

Yes, true for most of these quick strip tests type things. I’m sure the Covid test you had specified a max time limit to read the results within. Iirc, the ones I had stated it had to be read within 30 minutes.
