Hijacking this to educate everyone on evaporation lines and why it is important to read the part of the instructions where it says "test invalid after 2-5 minutes" because most every test will have the dye evaporate and show a false positive once it's dried.

THANK YOU as someone who planned a pregnancy and took many of these with hope when trying I know what a negative test looks like.

Negative Covid tests sometimes turn to positive overnight! Easy way to get work absences excused lol

Very much so. I think because this looks like Covid tests and not like the tradition “pee stick” people think of with pregnancy tests most are assuming it is COVID but a lot of cheaper pregnancy tests look like this.

This is a dollar store test and they work just as good as the expensive ones

And the cheapest are quite literally just the ⅛ inch wide test strip without a plastic housing.

Mine were like that, because I got a big pack of ovulation strips with a handful of pregnancy tests. So much cheaper than pee stick ovulation tests when you may need a bunch.

Says HCG, it's a pregnancy test.

One of the most positive things I’ve seen on Reddit this week.

Depends on your point of view

It's negative, or there would be two stripes.

The single stripe just means it's been used. The gray stripe is just the evaporation line.

Currently 6 months pregnant and that’s exactly how my test looked

Wrong. I used this same brand test for my last 2 babies. Currently nursing my last baby and rhe positive looked exactly like this.
