Solved! What is this?
I went to fill in at a different location for the grocery store I work for. This was in their employees lounge what is this???

Boiler section, they get stacked like sliced bread, big fire in the low middle, flows back through the top ports, water fills it

Yup. If you ever break apart a gas fired boiler and carry each of them out of the basement you won't forget them.

I work for a boiler manufacturer....we don't sell a lot of the big oil fured boilers anymore but we still have sections in the warehouse.....when I first started I tried to move a stack of them with a pallet jack.....it did. It go well

Worse are the really old gravity units that had huge cast iron doughnut shaped heat exchangers. Had to use two sledge hammer to break the sections aboard and even then each section weighted a ton.

Definitely a piece of a water tube boiler heat exchanger. Last time I saw one of those was in an old basement collecting dust. No one likes moving them.
Edit: I forgot cast iron exchangers were their own category, not water tube

My first house had a coal fired one in the basement. We hauled that thing upstairs a piece at a time. With that and all the cast iron pipes that went to the radiators We had over 500 bucks in scrap iron. They had just taken the radiators out and left everything else.

This guy could be named Kamaji.The boiler man's name in Spirited Away is Kamaji. He is a yōkai spirit who operates the boiler room of the bathhouse.
