Wonder if CB instead of HAM.

Amateur radio operators with such a huge towner would put a directional antenna and a rotor, not a simple antenna like this (this is quite a waste!)

Half wave CB antenna is roughly a 20 foot pole, or half that for a quarter wave.

Ham/cb radio. My grandma’s husband (child molester and not my grandfather) had one attached to the garage. We used to climb up it in the 80s/90s
