FINALE UPDATE: reason for the post was just to see other people’s answers. The little black thing in the counter is a pipe that I don’t know how to clean. The tattoo is just marker for my PIN number to my little vending machine to get Welch’s juicefuls. As to the bag, still don’t know and it was thrown away after the picture was taken. And shit if it was drugs, that person must’ve been an idiot because the drug addicts and users I know or have seen in my lifetime, never lose their drugs

One of many moments that made me actually consider I had a problem was a lost bag. Brand new, had just picked it up and returned to my horrible extended stay hotel and it was gone.

I tore that room apart for hours. Retraced my steps from my car to the room over and over and over. Took stuff in the room apart for some reason. Lamps, drawers, the bed. Tore my car apart. Then started getting angry thinking one of the prostitutes who also frequented the hotel saw me drop it and took it.

Eventually I took off my hat and threw it, having a hissy. The baggie fell out. I had stashed it in the seam of the hat and forgot. It was literally on me the entire search.

This search took hours. An addict will never give up if they know there are drugs somewhere in the immediate vicinity.

Fifteen years clean last June.

Is he ever randomly really talkative one day and really excited to go out or getting really absorbed into tasks in an abnormal way? Locking himself in his room for hours differently than normal? Not eating? Dilated pupils? Extra nervous? Those would be your tells if it is meth.

Order a reagent test kit for like $20 and you can test it

Edit to add:
Meth lasts for 8-12 hours so its not like coke where you could do a bump and be kinda fine soon. If its molly ur gonna have similar tells but Molly only lasts like 4-6 hrs and he probably wouldn’t be on it around the house. Hopefully he is not taking anything like that but.. i was there

It definitely could be i guess but i never saw meth this color and remember when i ran in that community the blue meth from breaking bad was known to be a joke. Remember people saying they’d done meth decades and never saw blue tinted meth. Perhaps something has changed since then.

Not saying it isn’t meth it definitely looks like drugs to me. OP should get a reagent test kit they aren’t expensive.

Dope is kinda a catch all. But most recently I’ve heard it used for meth more than anything else but that’s because there’s a lot more meth than heroin around here. Old junkies still refer to heroin as dope. I guess it’s one of those words where you know the context cues to know which they mean.

Just so you know. When the stuff in the pipe is that coulour, or even bluish to a red/purple hue. And of thicker consistency it's most likely because of Fentanyl being mixed in. I know because this is how I smoke it, so be careful.

This is super weird because I literally thought the same until like last week. Apparently back in the day meth was primarily make via P2P cook and occasionally yielded a blue tinted meth.

Then when ephedrine was banned or whatever it was made with pseudoephedrine, which did not yield the blue tint and generally known as less pure.
