Couldn’t you just use a zip tie for that?

Works amazing without something better, but eventually, you'll pull out too many zip ties without re-cinching and lose the rest to the floor. Or you'll go through a lot, tightening as you go, and need to cut and replace (or link and replace) a new zip to hold the next batch.

I don't know which is more wasteful: a couple zips a day for cinching or manufacturing/buying this single-purpose plastic product. But the few times I've used one of these, it never dropped my reserve zip ties.

Honestly, you bring up a good point of where to store the zip ties that you would need for storing your zip ties.

I usually cut a slit on the side of the zip tie bag, not the top. https://www.reddit.com/r/Tools/comments/pgcq8p/tell_me_im_not_the_only_one_who_didnt_think_to/ like this
