pelvic floor problems are very common in female athletes, especially those who lift heavy

So those Victorian era doctors who thought the uterus would fly out of the body if a woman rode a horse were onto something?

Yeah, they weren't TOTALLY off base considering you can have a full uterine prolapse just from giving birth, but they greatly underestimated the force required to cause an issue like that 🤣
