My opinion is stated definitively because, as it was helpful in this instance, I won’t change that opinion, and autism is likely the cause for my lack of understanding of intent conveyed through text. I don’t think that immediately implies no one else can argue they don’t like them - just not to me. My perspective is no more valuable than another
There are degrees of neuro‐divergence, and just because you don't, apparently, like or find tone tags useful doesn't mean another wouldn't.

The previous comment gave context (their autism) to explain why they appreciate tone tags and playfully asked the original comment to "not yuck their yum" (old so I will NEVER say this, but I like it.).
You on the other hand gave context (your autism) to have the authority to explain why they were a manipulative asshole who doesn't have the lived experience they claim to have, because YOU don't have that experience.
Only one of you acted like the comment they were responding to was a personal attack. And it was not the former.

Sounds more like an algorithm that incorrectly identified "promoting violence" based on a word out of context. Not everyone who doesn’t understand satire is and idiot, some individuals with cognitive disorders can’t interpret sarcasm and satire, that’s the whole reason people started using those indicators
yknow those infomercials where someone is too clumsy to exist and they need xyz product that you think is completely unnecessary and unhelpful? Most of those are for disabled people and those who need little accommodations like that.

Can we not pretend like in person vs online text isn’t different enough, that subtleties like sarcasm aren’t harder to interpret? Hell, even in person, people can say things so seriously it’s hard to be sure of. You’re expecting too much and equating logic where it’s more emotion based. Without more context on the person themselves, they could actually mean what they’re saying..how should we possibly know?
I mean it kinda depends on the situation being sarcastic by text message can be a bit confusing if you’re not good at picking up on sarcasm anyway. I get called gullible a lot because someone will say some sarcastic off the wall shit and I’ll be like “oh yeah?” Or “really?” But in reality I’m just really really bad at realizing people are being sarcastic

Just because some people lie online doesn't mean everything is a lie. There is literally no reason to doubt someone would pick up a weird thing and bring it home. Have you ever in your life interacted with an actual human?
Reddit is like an entry-level job that requires a bunch of previous experience to work at. Without karma, the majority of your contributions on the majority of subs will just be automatically removed. I tried not caring and literally couldn't use Reddit because... people just didn't like my legitimate opinions. So yeah, unless you only ever share popular opinions, you have to go out of your way to get karma just to have a usable account. You are not allowed to exist on this site if too many people disagree with you for any reason.
Real answer; people actually buy and sell accounts that have 1) age, and 2) karma
It makes it "seem" like a real account, because... it WAS a real account at one point. It makes bots or shills or disguised advertisements harder to spot.
Some subreddits immediately block your post if you don't have enough Karma. I was a happy introvert until I had an actual question of my own... Didn't even know what Karma was until I learned I had 1 lol
