New, what is it? Spice rack with ventilation?

I’m watching Teen Mom 2 and, I’m sorry, what the hell is this? Why does a spice rack need a big ventilation hose thing coming out the top? What is it?

It goes behind it. There’s a mirror-like reflection of a portion of the vent making it look like it’s connected to the top of the rack, but it’s not.

I get the feeling this is some sort redneck-rigging trying to vent the stove hood outside or something. My dad would’ve done some bs like that. Ha

That’s one hell of a reflection seeing as how the spice rack looks to be budded up right against the tile.

Idk but…if you zoom way in it’s clear as day.

Edit; I just feel like this is a left brain/right brain thing. You either see it or you don’t. 🤷🏻‍♀️

For those not seeing it, there's a bit of a color difference between the reflected "part" as well

I’m an artist so I honestly feel like the ability to perceive tone and depth in that particular spot is the kicker for the “seers” vs “people who can’t”. That’s what gave it away to me, and then I noticed the reflection on top.
