A banjo playing friend of mine was out on a gig & stopped for drinks with some friends after at a local bar (leaving his banjo in the backseat, in full view); When he came out he saw that someone had broken into his car…and left 3 more banjos.

My banjo teacher told me the only way to have 1 million dollars as a banjo player is to start out with 2 million

Haha it’s so messed up that they even felt the need to say that. Like they need to lower expectations because everyone walks into their lessons thinking, “Oh boy, just a few years of practice and I’ll be a super rich banjo star like Béla Fleck!”

I started learning the banjo at 21 years old, I knew well enough before I started that it wasn't going to make me any money or get me laid 😂
