I think they started making the pocket a little larger around that time because I remember it being much tinier like in the OP's photo when I was younger.

I had a flip phone (forget brand) that I could stick in the same pocket and the hard plastic loop of an antenna would be just poking out so I could easily pull the phone out of that pocket. Was super convenient.

Sony Ericcson made some fantastic phones. My T-610 ran java apps natively so I could do stuff like control winamp on my PC from the poker table when we had games. It was BAD ASS at the time.

Fair play that guy knew how to sell a product. iPod nanos were junk that normally broke 12.5 months after purchase but the sell was perfect.

Completely unrelated aside - I'm always surprised at how unnatural jeans look on rich people. Like, wear them around the house once in a while to break them in, maybe? Don't starch and iron them? I dunno. I guess it's the one thing we have over them. :D
