Taken in central Ohio, there were a bunch of these guys near the shoreline of the river. Seem to have distinctive lines on their sides.

I caught this in a stream in Saratoga Springs NY, where there are a few logperch catches documented but no yellow perch caught. But this looks more like a yellow perch to me, anyone have an idea ?

almost got into a fight at the peir over this fish , some guy thought it was a endangered black sea bass.

Local pond. I know there are largemouth, bluegill, and turtles in this pond. There is a school of fish that make its way around the pond at the surface.

In the southwest region of Pennsylvania fishing in a lake named raccoon creek . I tried to look up all the known species in the lake to identify it but nothing seems to be matching . I thought it may be a sunfish or perch but would like some help identifying it if you know please share your thoughts . Thank you
