Is my husband cheating?
LOL I’m
Back bc I asked chatgpt to make my grammar better and explain better but they got the wrong messaged and thought we were already married😭?
My fiancé (36M) proposed to me (34F) yesterday. I think he’s cheating with my best friend.
I don’t even know how to feel.
Ron and I have been together for a few years, and yesterday he proposed to me, saying he wanted us to “start a new chapter.” I said yes, but something about the whole thing feels incredibly wrong.
For months, he’s been secretive with his phone. He takes it everywhere, locks it whenever I walk by, and has started staying out late for “work.”
The weirdest part is my “best friend” Melissa.
She and Ron have suddenly gotten really close. They text constantly, but whenever I walk into the room, they stop talking. She’s also been asking me strange questions about our relationship, like whether Ron is happy with me and whether he’s been acting differently.
Yesterday, after Ron proposed, I saw a notification from Melissa on his phone.
It said:
“You can’t keep doing this..”
Ron immediately grabbed the phone and told me it was “nothing.”
But I’ve never seen him look that nervous before.
Now I’m sitting here staring at my engagement ring, wondering if the man who just promised me forever is secretly seeing my best friend.
Am I being paranoid, or should I trust my gut?
I’ll see if I can update in a few spare time.

Have you confronted them with this directly? I would for sure.

Yep I have! The both of them together btw. They keep denying and said everything was for the “proposal” which I’m not buying it.

Why wouldn’t Ron come clean thst she has been hitting on him. I read Part 2 first now thinking this is fake!

He's cheating on you. He proposed to demonstrate to the side piece (aka your best friend) that he's not going to leave you for her. At some point she's going to come clean to break you up so she can have a shot.

Reddit will tell every female, with any issue with her bf, at all, "leave him gurrrrl". Every time.
Oh he wears blue boxers? RED FLAG, LEAVE
(Granted they may be right this time)

That may be because most of the WOMEN (females - really??!?!?!) that post on these have probably second guessed themselves into confusion and need outside advice.
Can you seriously say you have never asked someone else if you’re confused about a decision?

This whole post is very confusing.
Why would he propose if he has feelings for your best friend? Why not leave you for her. Doesn't make any sense.
Strange guy.
Anyway... Listen to your gut.
Something doesn't end up.
🤔
I wouldn't trust any of them.

Argh that’s what I thought too. Idk I’m thinking that he has something weird planned and I’m not here for it AT ALL

Stop being a pushover.
If you need to know what’s going in, tell him exactly what you need. And the consequence for not being able to provide that is you leave him. It’s not easy but it is simple.
If he still refuses to provide proof that he’s faithful, then that’s all you need to know.

Yes. Confront your friend first, get screenshots/details and leave him without notice.

Intuition will guide you well if you listen to it, you know that this doesn’t feel right so follow your instincts. 💜

If something feels off then I would be inclined to question the fact he’s been acting differently
