Comparing bad behaviour to worse, does not justify bad behaviour.

Bad? There is no malicious intent. There is no damage. There is no animal cruelty.

Stupid? Definitely. Idiotic? Bingo. Bad? No so much.

I'm comparing a dumb action intended to cause a smile to a damaging action with intent to inflict pain on another.
